A plain summary of how access to your account works and what we do with your data.

Read-only access, always

Valion never has permission to create, modify or delete anything in your AWS account. Access happens through a role that you yourself authorize when connecting your account, protected with a key unique to your organization, and which you can revoke at any time from your own AWS console — without depending on Valion to do it.

What information we collect

We collect cost, service usage and security configuration information from your AWS account (for example, how your resources are configured, not their content) in order to build your dashboard. We also store the basic details of the people on your team who use the platform (name, email, job title) in order to manage their access.

Use of artificial intelligence

The executive summary and the chat assistant on your dashboard use artificial intelligence to generate text from your information. They are there to help you interpret your data faster — they do not replace your team judgement.

Confidentiality

We treat your account information as confidential. We do not share it with third parties, other than the providers strictly necessary to operate the service.
